HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering disclosed before August 24 that it had secured orders for four LPG carriers, with a total value of 515.4 billion won (approximately $370 million), scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2030.

HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering did not disclose specific details about the shipowner, and the four LPG carriers will be built at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan. However, shipbrokers believe that Turkish owner PascoGas is linked to this order.

Including the latest orders above, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering's new orders for 2026 have reached 162 vessels, valued at about $18.08 billion, achieving 77.6% of its annual target of $23.31 billion. By vessel type, LPG, ammonia, and liquefied CO₂ carriers account for the largest share, with 50 vessels; in addition, there are 50 product tankers, 30 container ships, 17 LNG carriers, 11 crude oil tankers, and 2 pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs).
