A new premium express service, collaboratively launched by Dongguan Port, Wenzhou Port, Tianjin Port, and Antong Holdings under the "Three Ports, One Carrier" initiative, has successfully completed its maiden voyage. This milestone formally inaugurates a new chapter in port-shipping coordination and injects significant momentum into the integrated development of three major economic powerhouses: the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.

The maiden voyage ceremony was attended by senior leadership, including Mr. Wan Hui, Party Secretary and Chairman of Dongguan Transportation Investment Holding Corporation and Dongguan Port Group; Mr. Zhuang Leijun, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Wenzhou Port Group; Mr. Yan Wu, Vice President of Tianjin Port Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Lou Jianqiang, Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and President of Antong Holdings Co., Ltd.

This collaboration represents a significant practical step toward deepening synergistic linkages within the port and shipping sector, aligned with the imperative of facilitating unimpeded domestic circulation. It constitutes a concrete measure in support of the national strategy for coordinated regional development and plays a strategically important role in enhancing the efficiency of domestic north-south trade logistics while reducing overall societal logistics costs.

Functioning as a critical north-south logistics trunk line, the "Three Ports, One Carrier" premium express service deploys three vessels of 30,000-tonne class. The service focuses on establishing a high-quality route connecting Dongguan, Wenzhou, and Tianjin, achieving an end-to-end transit time of merely five to six days.

Compared to traditional transport modes, this new service substantially reduces shipping cycles for domestic north-south trade cargo. Moreover, the per-container transport cost is notably lower than overland alternatives, delivering tangible benefits to upstream and downstream enterprises by alleviating cost pressures, enhancing operational efficiency, and ultimately strengthening their core market competitiveness.

Looking ahead, the participating parties intend to capitalize fully on the momentum generated by this maiden voyage. They plan to deepen comprehensive collaboration across all dimensions, continuously refine cooperative mechanisms, and construct a more integrated, efficient, and resilient partnership framework. Further efforts will focus on enabling real-time and precise information sharing between port and shipping stakeholders.
